This is achieved through years of providing quality service, promptly meeting the needs of people in their task of providing the best values to their esteemed customers. Our commitment at Golden State Equipment is to always be recognized in the funeral and cemetery industries as the premier, professional service provider to specialized equipment. Our goal is to be readily available at every customer’s call.

Our Vision:

Golden State Equipment Services, LLC, provides quality repair and maintenance services to the cemeteries, funeral homes, and mausoleums located in the whole of California. We are proud to be the only know and reliable corporate service in the western United States to provide such a service. Let it be known that GSEQS is not merely limited to the west coast. Our vision includes being of benefit across the nation, and potentially across the globe as our company expands and services quantify. Our target customers are the people of the above-mentioned who show loyalty and compassion to both operations and its operators, as well as their own clients. We are driven to benefit such clients with fast, reliable, and sustainable services that will ensure them of safe and dependable operations in a permanent manner. Preventative maintenance is firmly rooted in customer loyalty; our goal is to achieve consistent service for those in need. GSEQS is a need-based company. There is no high-pressure sales tact involved.  The products GSEQS has to offer will come from professional and knowledgeable third parties who understand the need discussed here. These resources will be of advantage to the cemetery and funeral home industries to further enhance the management of their facilities. GSEQS will also instate a shipping program to reach beyond the borders of California. We realize that there are many more cemeteries and funeral homes which do not have the benefit of a service like this. Thus we will invite them in with an equal trust opportunity, resulting in safe handling of equipment, high level of detailed repair and maintenance, and fast turnaround. All of these services are to be offered at a modest charge: we understand the dynamic rules of the economic environment; therefore we must be dynamic as well. Expansion is not a priority, but it is an obvious manifestation. As GSEQS grows, our success will not be based purely on revenue, but on the acquisition of accounts as well. In due time, as our resources expand, a multi-employee company will develop with a local office that will benefit the shipping program and beyond. Our ultimate vision is across the nation—ultimately, the entirely plausible ideal of a multi-branch public corporation will be realized, even if time must walk its course.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Clay  

Since 1992, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bob Clay has been in the service business, providing specialized maintenance and repair. "The importance of scheduled maintenance intervals for equipment used in daily operations goes beyond performance; it also insures safety and reduction of risk." Golden State has serviced and repaired many types of equipment for the cemetery and funeral operations with the ability to repair and maintain equipment in a professional and efficient process.

(COO) Chief Operating Officer, Shay Clay 

Shay Clay, son of Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bob, serves as Chief Operating Officer for Golden State Equipment Services. He has performed equipment maintenance and repair with his father for over seven years. His core principles of customer loyalty and value are firmly established within the company. Shay is enthusiastic about peer-to-peer response and dedicated to the benefit of the funeral and cemetery industries. He is married and has recently become a father.
